Acme Electric announces agreement to sell its aerospace division.BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 1996--Acme Electric Corp. (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :ACE) Tuesday announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell the assets of its aerospace division for approximately $6 million to Ultra Force Ultra Force was a PC demoscene group from The Netherlands, active from 1989–1993 with publicly released demos. They were the first PC group to release a true 3D demo, in 1991, entitled VectorDemo. This demo could be seen on display at many computer trade shows. Battery Co. Inc., a newly formed subsidiary of B.A.T. International Inc. The agreement also provides for the license of Acme's battery-related technologies for the electric vehicle and other commercial markets.
