Achieve Clinical Expert Appointed to National Work Group.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Achieve Healthcare Technologies' (www.achievehealthcare.com) clinical expert, Beth DeLaHunt, was recently selected to serve on the American Health Care Association's (www.ahca.org) Clinical Practice Work Group.

DeLaHunt received notification of her one-year appointment in February. As a member of this work group, DeLaHunt represents more than 12,000 long-term care providers nationwide. According to the AHCA Committee Descriptions, the Clinical Practice Work Group Subcommittee's goal is to ensure the provision of quality long-term care and evidence-based clinical practice. The subcommittee focuses on assessing the integration of clinical practice areas and initiatives with Quality First, assessing the workforce shortages, fostering the advancement of electronic clinical practice and management systems, assessing and recommending the position of AHCA and the National Center for Assisted Living (www.ncal.org) on clinical issues and following and impacting regulation and government direction.

In addition to AHCA's Clinical Practice Work Group, DeLaHunt also successfully achieved Certified Health Professional in Health Information Technology and Certified Professional in Electronic Health Records from the Health IT Certification training program last year.

DeLaHunt joined Achieve in 2001 to serve as the company's clinical product marketing manager. In that role, she visits prospects and clients to provide information about Achieve's clinical products and services and to help define the strategic direction of the clinical products and services, including Achieve's Web-based, clinical and financial software system - Achieve Matrix.
