Achieva Inc., Zionsville, Ind., announces that Sara Wyant has joined the firm as director of legislative and public affairs. In this new position, Wyant will coordinate communication and outreach efforts related to legislative and regulatory issues, and expand the firm's presence in Washington, D.C. As vice president for editorial at Farm Progress Companies during the past eight years, Wyant led the largest agricultural publication group in the United States. Prior to serving in that position, she covered Capitol Hill, focusing on legislative and regulatory issues that impacted farm profitability. Her newsletter, Agri-Pulse, covered commodity, trade, food safety, environmental and government program issues for producers and industry leaders across the country.
