LLC - Logical Link Control in Summit, N.J., has developed a low-gloss version of its acetal copolymer for molded knobs found in a growing number of automotive interior controls. The acetal provides a gloss level of 2, compared with 8 for nylon 66, Ticona says. The resin also imparts excellent scratch and chemical resistance. Shown here are HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) In the home or small office with a handful of computers, HVAC is more for human comfort than the machines. In large datacenters, a humidity-free room with a steady, cool temperature is essential for the trouble-free slider knobs molded by TRW TRW The Real World (TV reality show) TRW The Right Way TRW Tactical Reconnaissance Wing TRW The Retriever Weekly (University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD) TRW Thompson Ramo Wooldridge Inc for 2001 and 2002 Dodge and Chrysler minivans. TRW chose acetal over nylon 66 for these parts.
