Ace buy by engineer.

A BLACK Country group has successfully swooped to capture another Midlands engineering company in a deal masterminded in Birmingham. Stourbridge-based ACE Ltd acquired the entire share capital of GDK Engineering Ltd, of Worcester, for an undisclosed sum.

ACE Ltd worked with business advisers PKF in Birmingham with funding provided by Euro Sales Finance and NatWest.

GDK Engineering Ltd's dedicated workforce produces precision slew rings and gearboxes to its own design. and manufactures precision engineering components for a variety of customers.

Andy Kay, of PKF, said: "ACE Ltd had a clear vision of what they were looking for, and it was a case of watching and waiting until they identified the right target."
