Ace USA Taps Managing Director.

Ace USA, the U.S. operation of the Ace Group of Cos., has appointed David Lupica managing director of the professional risk division. His responsibilities will include underwriting and production for the errors and omissions and directors and officers product lines. He will be based in New York.

Lupica comes to Ace USA from Star Excess Liability Insurance Co. of Bermuda, where he was worldwide product line manager for its financial-services operations and was subsequently promoted to president. Before that, he was a senior vice president for Alexander & Alexander (now Aon). Lupica also held several positions at American International Group.
