Ace Ltd.

ACE LTD. has named JOHN KEOGH chief executive officer of Ace Overseas General, the company's international property and casualty insurance organization.

Before joining Ace, Keogh spent more than 20 years at American International Group Inc., most recently as senior vice president of domestic general insurance and president and CEO of National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Keogh succeeds Gary Schmalzriedt, who will remain chairman of Ace Overseas General until his retirement, planned for Oct. 1.
