SECRET recordings captured the alleged killers apparently discussing the murder while they were in the back of a police van.

In one extract played in court yesterday, Juress Kika says: "See when it happened yeah it was kinda like a quick ting like boom, went down the road, come back up, boom, finished. You get what I'm saying?" While discussing what evidence the police might have, Jade Braithwaite appears to offer the others money to say he was not there.

He says: "If you mans get like a couple of years or whatever, get me? Mans got Gs (thousands) there for you man, you know." Later Kika tells Braithwaite: "If it gets a bit sticky, yeah, and man has to say a little story, it's gonna have to be you say you weren't with us.

"You say your bit, your alibi, boom, you weren't with us." Kika is heard saying someone should "sort out" a caretaker who operates CCTV in the area. Later he adds: "Someone needs to deal with these snitches in the hood, blood." At one point he warns his co-defendants they might be being taped, saying: "Blood, they sure these tings ain't got no recording shit cuz... " But Michael Alleyne mocks: "Suck your recording."
