Accused in Jay-Z, Beyonce 'death threat case' ordered to undergo mental exam.

London, August 10 (ANI): A man who allegedly threatened to murder celebrities, including Jay-Z and Beyonce, has been ordered to undergo a mental evaluation after he was arrested in Detroit, Michigan “Detroit” redirects here. For other uses, see Detroit (disambiguation).

Leon Desmond Barrett reportedly sent letters to stars, including former American footballer, Jerome Bettis Jerome Abram Bettis, nicknamed "The Bus" (born February 16, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan), is a former American football halfback for the NFL's Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers. , between December 2006 and April this year.

The police revealed the content in a letter dated 18 August, 2007.

The 37-year-old is currently facing a charge of mailing threatening communications.
