AccuWeather.com is Able to More Quickly Respond to the Needs of the Mobile Web Marketplace Using eMbience's Brand Builder

AccuWeather.com selected eMbience's Brand Builder solution, because it complements their forward-thinking strategy of continuing to deliver feature- and media-rich BREW (Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless) An application development environment from Qualcomm for enhanced cellphone services (e-mail, games, etc.). BREW is directly supported in the CDMA chipsets from Qualcomm, and BREW-enabled applications work no matter ([R]), J2ME (Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition) A version of Java 2 for cellphones, PDAs and consumer appliances. J2ME uses the K Virtual Machine (KVM), a specialized Java interpreter for devices with limited memory.  and mobile web products for their customers. In addition to deploying these robust applications quickly, AccuWeather.com will be able to easily update and maintain their mobile web site and applications. New AccuWeather.com applications will be ported across platforms using Brand Builder's Flash-like player which has been optimized for a wide range of handsets.
