Available to Accton OEM partners immediately, the new 24-port Layer 2+ ES3526Y stackable joins the stand-alone ES3626X, which began shipping late last year. Loaded with advanced features and boasting outstanding performance -- all at a price that leaves plenty of room for margin -- the new ES3526Y is ideal for Enterprise workgroup applications.

The new L2+ stackable 24-port switch, ES3526Y, brings power, security and flexibility with 24 10/100 ports and two slots for optional fiber and Gigabit uplink modules; available in 1000BASE-T, 1000BASE-SX (SC), 1000BASE-LX (SC), 1000BASE-X (GBIC) and 100BASE-FX (SC, MMF and SMF). Benefiting from Accton's internally designed ASIC, routing firmware and Mercury software technology, the ES3526Y has features that take it beyond L2, with support for Private VLAN, 802.1v protocol VLAN, IEEE 802.3ad (LACP) trunking and more. SMTP and dual configuration files ease management, and support for 255 or 4K VLAN groups and Jumbo packets (to 9K bytes) give administrators the flexibility to make performance-enhancing adjustments. Security and QoS are important to administrators, too. The ES3526Y features port-based 802.1x, Access Control Lists, HTTPS/SSL and SSH. QoS features include Marking 802.1p and DiffServ, rate-limiting, WRR and strict scheduling.
