About Jonathan D. Becher

Becher has 15 years experience in managing and growing technology companies focused on pattern recognition, scalable computing and analytics. In November 1999, he joined Accrue Software as Vice President of Product Strategy, where he was responsible for both product strategy and business development. Since then, his title changed to Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy, and his role expanded to include responsibility for company projections, marketplace analysis, and technology trends. He also oversees and manages Accrue's technology, application and channel partnerships.

Becher joined Accrue from the acquisition of NeoVista Software, where he was President, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  and co-founder. While at NeoVista, he was a principal designer of a scalable knowledge discovery workbench, which is a technology that allows business users to make decisions based on likely future outcomes rather than historical data. He has been an active member of the data mining community and a frequent speaker at industry conferences.

Becher completed his M.S. in computer science from Duke University. He also holds a B.S. in computer engineering from the University of Virginia.
