Accrue Software Announces Professional Services for Enterprise eBusiness Analysis; Company Names Rebecca Stern as Director of Professional Services.

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1998--Accrue Software, Inc., the leading provider of eBusiness analysis software for high-volume, complex sites, today announced consulting and training services designed to ease implementation and maximize returns from enterprise eBusiness analysis solutions.

Accrue Professional Services will assist customers in every stage of Accrue Insight deployment, from identification of specific business needs through enterprise integration and report customization. System administrator and business analyst training are also offered.

Accrue Professional Services consists of four consulting services (eBusiness Site Assessment, QuickInsight, Customized Enabling Services and Site Effectiveness Analysis) as well as system administrator training, and both standard and advanced training for business analysts. Customers who have already benefited from Accrue's consulting expertise are Sun Microsystems, Kodak, Motorola, Houston Chronicle and Qualcomm. With the introduction of the Accrue Professional Services program, the company anticipates approximately 30% of its ongoing revenues will come from consulting.

To head up this initiative, Accrue has named Rebecca Stern as director of consulting services. Stern will be responsible for managing all consulting, training and technical support services provided by Accrue. In fitting with the company's efforts to assemble a management team that understands the needs of the enterprise, Stern brings with her over 12 years experience in software training and consulting.

Previously, Stern was at Sun Microsystems, Inc. where she was responsible for the multi-million dollar SunPeak Program training project as well as a variety of software consulting projects. Prior to Sun, Stern was at Computer Associates where she directed several strategic training and implementation projects.

eBusiness Site Assessment -- A needs analysis service that assesses site measurability, available sources of customer information, and reporting requirements. The end result is a detailed, actionable work plan delivered to the customer ($2,000/day).

QuickInsight -- A fixed-fee program designed to ensure a quick and easy, successful deployment of Accrue Insight. This service includes configuring data collectors, constructing a Web site model for the Analyzer and ensuring that data loads into the data warehouse. The goal of QuickInsight is to guarantee quick, successful deployment of Accrue Insight (Fixed fee of $7,500).

Customized Enabling Services -- Customization of Accrue Insight and integration with other enterprise data sources to achieve business goals. Options include customization of both the Insight interface and reports, as well as performance tuning to ensure that Insight is running optimally ($2,000/day).

Site Effectiveness Analysis -- Site Improvement consulting to translate site reports into specific business action to meet customer objectives. This service also includes independent auditing of the data being provided to partners and advertisers, and Performance Verification to ensure that the collection and dissemination of information is meeting performance standards ($2,000/day).

Training Services:

Administrator Training -- Aimed at system administrators supporting Accrue Insight and/or writing custom interfaces to the product. Topics covered in administrator training include product architecture and infrastructure issues, installation and configuration and opportunities for customization ($2,000/day).

Standard Business Analyst Training -- Aimed at marketing and business analysts, this training provides an overview of the product and instruction on how to generate standard reports ($1,000/half day).

Advanced Business Analyst Training -- Aimed at researchers, business analysts or Web usage analysts who expect to make heavy use of Accrue Insight, this training covers Web statistics, an overview of Accrue Insight, generating standard reports and creating new reports, specific business questions and the personalization options available with Accrue Insight (email and MyAccrue pages) ($2,000/day).
