Accredo Health, Incorporated (NASDAQ:ACDO) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Nova Factor, Inc. has been selected by Bertek Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Mylan Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: MYL), as a preferred specialty pharmacy provider of APOKYN(TM) (apomorphine hydrochloride injection). APOKYN is used in the acute, intermittent treatment of hypomobility, "off" episodes ("end-of-dose wearing off" and unpredictable "on/off" episodes) associated with advanced Parkinson's disease.

APOKYN is the first therapy approved in the United States for use as an acute (rescue) treatment of "off" episodes. "Off" episodes are debilitating periods of partial loss of movement or total immobility experienced by patients with Parkinson's disease.
