 Home Lenders Holding Co. (Nasdaq: LEND) today announced the addition of Dr. Richard T. Pratt and Captain Gary M. Erickson to its board of directors. The appointment of two additional directors increases the company's board size to seven, including two employee directors.

Mr. Erickson, 51, is a Captain in the U.S. Navy and in command of Naval Reserve Readiness Command Southwest headquartered in San Diego. He has been a director of Accredited Home Capital Inc., an indirect subsidiary, since 1995.

A native of Salem, Oregon, Captain Erickson has served in the Navy since 1974. He has commanded a guided missile frigate frigate (frĭg`ĭt), originally a long, narrow nautical vessel used on the Mediterranean, propelled by either oars or sail or both. Later, during the 18th and early 19th cent. , a destroyer squadron and has served as the Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff for the Commander, Naval Surface Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet based in San Diego.

He holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Willamette University (1973), a J.D. from the Lewis & Clark Law School, Portland, OR (1983) and an LL.M LL.M Legum Magister (Master of Laws) . from the University of San Diego School of Law The University of San Diego School of Law, commonly referred to as USD Law, is a law school in San Diego, California. USD Law offers Juris Doctor degrees as well as LL.M. degrees in taxation law, international law, business and corporate law, and comparative law (for non-U.  (1992).
