Accredited Co-Founder to Address Subprime Lending Symposium.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 9, 2004

A co-founder of Accredited Home Lenders Holding Co. (NASDAQ:LEND), a national non-prime residential mortgage lender based here, will participate at the June 14 Subprime Lending Symposium in San Francisco.

Ray McKewon, executive vice president and a director of Accredited, will be a featured participant in the conference sponsored by Thomson Media, parent of National Mortgage News, Origination News and Home Equity Wire. He will be a panelist in the discussion, "The Wholesaler/Broker Relationship in the New Originations Environment" slated for 1:30 p.m. (PDT), along with Dave Pazgan, Novastar Mortgage, and Leon Huntting of American Pacific Mortgage and president of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers.

The subprime conference (www.tmconferences.com) will be June 13-15 at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel.

Before helping to found Accredited in 1990, Mr. McKewon was managing partner of the Enterprise Management Company, a venture capital firm that he also founded. He earned a BA degree in English and BS in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma (1970) and an MBA from Pepperdine University (1975).
