A total of 61 agencies have now been accredited accredited

recognition by an appropriate authority that the performance of a particular institution has satisfied a prestated set of criteria.

 Executive Director John Thorner presented the prestigious accreditation achievement at their county board meeting on February 28. The following agencies were accredited or re-accredited at the NRPA National Legislative Forum on Parks and Recreation:

Initial Accreditations

Arlington County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Resources, Arlington County, Va.

Five-Year Re-Accreditations

City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department, Bloomington, Ind IND Investigational new drug Therapeutics A status assigned by the FDA to a drug before allowing its use in humans, exempting it from premarketing approval requirements so that experimental clinical trials may be conducted.
