Accounting software developer State Of The Art Inc. announces management changes.


IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 8, 1996--Accounting software developer State Of The Art Inc. Wednesday announced that it has named Dan Shapero, former vice president of marketing, to vice president and general manager of the client/server division.

Shapero, who has several years of experience in the client/server and accounting marketplace, including prior positions with Platinum Software Corp. and Ernst and Young, will replace Russell Olson Russell A. Olson (1924—) was a Wisconsin politician. He was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1924; he served in the Marines from 1942 until 1946. After World War II, he moved to rural Kenosha County, Wisconsin where he raised cattle.  who is retiring from State Of The Art.

"Mr. Shapero brings a wealth of relevant experience and skills to this key position," said David W. Hanna, president and chief executive officer.
