Gurrie chose InterAction to solve specific challenges resulting from the firm's continued growth. First, as professionals become more mobile, communicating across client teams and keeping team members up to date has grown more difficult. "On occasion we'd have situations in which staff members who were meeting with clients were unaware of conversations that had taken place about the engagement," said Cole. "We needed to fix this before it became a significant problem."

Gurrie uses this function to automatically notify team members when important emails, phone calls and meetings take place with clients. It also helps the client relationship manager know when important events are not occurring. "We're also using InterAction as a monitoring system," explained Cole. "For example, it will alert me if there hasn't been client contact in a period of time, which is something I need to know about."
