Negotiations have been finalized See finalization.  for the growing accounting firm to take over the entire 16th floor, adding an additional 18,000 s/f to the firm's office.

Renovation of the floor should proceed swiftly, since the floor was previously occupied by another accounting firm.

Although plans have not been finalized for the space, co-managing partner Frank Schettino said that the Firm's expanding investment partnership/hedge fund practice will relocate re·lo·cate

With this addition, Anchin will occupy seven floors of the building, including 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 23 and 25. The Firm currently maintains a training facility on the 10th floor which is in the process of being relocated to new state-of-the-art facilities on the 23rd floor.

In a steady expansion that began soon after the firm moved into its present offices in 1987, the Firm has moved from occupying one-and-a-half floors to more than seven floors. Anchin now has 50 partners and a staff of more than 325. "We are committed to mid-town and to this building," Schettino said. "We have long enjoyed an excellent relationship with management, and the location is ideal for our clients as well as our staff."

 Williams' senior managing director Perry Mesmer, along with executive managing director Marty Meyer, handled the transaction on behalf of the building's owners, a joint venture known as State Court Enterprises, of which Jonathan Rosen is the lead partner.
