On March 17, 2000, Work Management Solutions, Inc. officially changed its name to Account4.com, Inc. This marks the completion of the Company's transformation that began in 1995 with the first development efforts to create 100% thin-client professional services automation (PSA) software for the Internet. Account4.com now focuses entirely on providing solutions for the human capital shortage facing IT and professional services organizations.

A primary factor in this change stems from the increased demand for PSA software. The emerging market is currently estimated to be in excess of $1.6 billion dollars according to a report by the Aberdeen Group. During a recent presentation David Hofferberth of Aberdeen stated that "users of PSA software can expect a 3 to 8% increase in productivity," - numbers that are capturing the attention of IT groups and professional services organizations everywhere.
