the papers, Hillary Clinton is quite the moderate on abortion, leading her party to a less absolutist position. True, the senator has made some rhetorical feints, in classic Clintonian style: "Safe, legal, rare," blah, blah, blah. But as Hillary basks in this new image, it should be remembered that she is, in fact, an absolutist on abortion: She would not restrict any abortion, anywhere, and that includes partial-birth abortion partial-birth abortion

1. In a way or to an extent that is well known: "his famously neurotic mannerisms [are] lampooned in the novels of Evelyn Waugh"
described by her predecessor, Senator Moynihan, as "close to infanticide infanticide (ĭnfăn`təsīd) [Lat.,=child murder], the putting to death of the newborn with the consent of the parent, family, or community. Infanticide often occurs among peoples whose food supply is insecure (e.g. " (not close enough, apparently). It will be interesting to see how Senator Clinton votes. For example, she will have a chance to vote on CIANA CIANA Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability, Non-Repudiation, and Authentication (Information Assurance, Information Security) , the Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act, which would make it a federal crime to transport minors across state lines for the purpose of having an abortion, in an attempt to evade parental-notification laws. (A judicial waiver would apply.) A few political speeches, geared to '08, should not obscure the bedrock reality: Hillary Clinton is for abortion on demand.
