Accolade for vets.A VETS' surgery that was washed out in floods last year has bounced back with a prestigious industry honour. The Robson and Prescott practice, known as The Morpeth Veterinary Centre, in Northumberland, had to evacuate e·vac·u·ate v. 1. To empty or remove the contents of. 2. To excrete or discharge waste matter, especially of the bowels. all staff and animals as floodwater flood·wa·ter n. The water of a flood. Often used in the plural. floodwater n → aguas fpl (de la inundación) floodwater n up to 6ft deep swept through the building in September 2008. Much of the practice equipment was damaged or washed away in the disaster and in the weeks that followed, surgeries were conducted from mobile units. The practice has now won the Best Refurbished Premises accolade from the British Veterinary Hospitals Association. |
