Accolade arrives at E3 with 10 new titles and its hottest holiday lineup ever!

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 1997--On the heels of an extremely successful year with two top 10 titles and an exclusive distribution agreement with Electronic Arts, Accolade heads to Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) with 10 new titles.

Following is a brief overview of Accolade's lineup at next week's E3 in Atlanta: -0- -- HardBall 6 - To date the Hardball series is the number one selling baseball simulation on the PC. The game will include the MLB and MLBPA licenses and a new 3D world, as well as the other features that have made the game such a success. HardBall 6 will ship for personal computers in September.

-- Legends Football '98 - Accolade's new football simulation will include all 30 modern NFL teams and more than 1,100 players. In addition to modern-day play, the game delivers teams and football action from each of three selected legendary eras in NFL history: 1932, 1950 and 1968 for a combined total of 80 teams. Legends Football '98 will be available for personal computers this September.

-- Test Drive 4 - Get behind the wheel of the world's hottest cars in this upcoming racing game for the PC and PlayStation. Exotic super-cars challenge the raw power of "muscle cars" in a race across the world. The game will ship in November for personal computers and PlayStations.

-- Redline - The industry's first-ever post-Apocalyptic gang simulation, Redline, will revolutionize 3D gaming. It will include character development, reality-based combat on foot and in vehicles, and 16 player gameplay in a fully 3D accelerated environment. Redline will be available in November for personal computers.

-- Jack Nicklaus 5 - Due to be released this holiday season for personal computers, Accolade's new golf game will feature 3D polygonal golfers, five outstanding new courses, an upgraded Course Designer, and a new innovative mouse-based swing meter.

-- Jack Nicklaus Online Tour - Jack Nicklaus Online Tour, shipping this summer, is an online golf game that allows players to compete in actual golf tournaments or friendly matches against large numbers of other human opponents in real-time.

-- Jack Nicklaus '98 - This holiday season, Accolade's Jack Nicklaus golf series will arrive on the PlayStation featuring 3D polygonal golfers with motion-captured golf swings, exciting tournament play, dynamic sound and music, and the critically acclaimed Jack Nicklaus Course Designer.

-- Jack Nicklaus 4 DVD - In support of the increasing popularity of DVD technology, Accolade plans to release its top rated golf simulation game on DVD. The game will include never-before available exclusive video footage, as well as new, higher resolution and detailed cinematics. The game will be available this summer.

-- Deadlock 2 - One of the top selling turn-based PC strategy games of last year, Deadlock, prepares its return in Accolade's Deadlock 2. This highly anticipated strategy game will ship for personal computers this fall. -0-
