This has all been made possible today by Accolade's announcement that the highly anticipated Jack Nicklaus 4 golf simulation game has begun shipping.

Jack Nicklaus 4 allows players to choose from up to five courses where they can experience unparalleled realistic gameplay: Muirfield Village Golf Club, Colleton River Plantation, Country Club of the South, Winding Springs, and Cabo del Sol. In addition, a new course designer gives players the ability to create custom courses and use other courses from previous Jack Nicklaus Signature Edition games. The course designer allows you to create a complete 18-hole course, including sophisticated design with precise simulation of any terrain elevation and hole layouts.

Jack Nicklaus 4 requires Windows 95, a Pentium 90 or better, 16MB RAM and SVGA color graphics. For multiplayer play, Accolade recommends a Pentium 133 or better. Jack Nicklaus 4 is currently available at an estimated street price of $49.95.
