Acclaim Entertainment Appoints Claudia Ceniceros Vice President, Corporate Communications.

: AKLM AKLM Acclaim Entertainment, Inc. (stock symbol) ), a leading worldwide interactive entertainment company, today announced the appointment of Claudia Ceniceros as Vice President of Corporate Communications.

Ms. Ceniceros' responsibilities will include corporate communications and consumer public relations. She will also support investor relations and Acclaim.com publicity. She will report to Greg Fischbach, Co-Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. .

Ms. Ceniceros has a broad range of experience in corporate communications, strategic planning and media relations. Prior to joining Acclaim, Ms. Ceniceros was Vice President of Strategic Communications for the ABC Television Network. In addition to managing network media relations projects and working closely with the head of Network Communications, she was responsible for launching the successful Disney-branded ABC ABC
 in full American Broadcasting Co.

Ms. Ceniceros' appointment closely follows several recent additions to the Acclaim management team, a powerhouse of entertainment and technology veterans. Recent additions include: William Sorenson, formerly of News Corporation, was appointed CFO See Chief Financial Officer.  and Executive Vice President and Ojas Rege, Vice President of the company's Internet Division, Acclaim Online, was a technology and Internet professional from the Boston Consulting Group.

Acclaim Entertainment will be reporting its fourth quarter and 1999 fiscal year end results on Thursday, October 14th.
