Accipiter Adds New Ad Trafficking Customer; Ad Trafficking Service Provides Fisher Communications Complete Outsourced and Customized Solution for Campaign Management Process.

RALEIGH Raleigh (rôl`ē, räl`ē), city (1990 pop. 207,951), state capital, and seat of Wake co., central N.C.; the site was selected for the capital in 1788, and the city was laid out and inc. 1792. , N.C. -- Accipiter Solutions, Inc., an online advertising technology innovator since 1996, today announced that it has signed Fisher Communications Fisher Communications (NASDAQ: FSCI) is a media company in the United States. Based in Seattle, Washington, the company owns a number of radio and television stations in the northwestern United States.  as an ad trafficking customer. Fisher Communications, a Seattle-based communications and media company, delivers third-party rich media campaigns, Flash, and video, as well as text links and standard image ads. The company was an existing Accipiter AdManager Hosted customer prior to adding ad trafficking services.

"We knew we wanted to outsource ad trafficking, and felt that Accipiter with its knowledge of our product, made the most sense. This decision allows us to streamline all ad operations processes through one company with whom we are already familiar," said Rob Dunlop, vice president of developing media for Fisher Communications. "The migration process has been nearly invisible. We simply began sending trafficking requests to Accipiter and they took over from there."

Increasing demand for online advertising and changing market conditions worldwide have created the need for outsourced ad trafficking services. Some companies have a smaller volume of advertising and cannot justify the added expense of a full-time traffic manager while others simply need expert assistance in managing creatives that require special handling. A number of customers prefer to outsource their ad trafficking needs so they can concentrate more fully on building other aspects of their business, while others need additional support to cover trafficking duties during holidays, vacation, leave, or peak demand.

"We consider ourselves to be an extension of Fisher Communication's team, and our goal was to make the move to using our trafficking services a completely seamless transition for them," said Jeff Wood For the Wisconsin politician, see .
