APP's "AP+ Series" of onboard computer recording systems enable fleet managers to evaluate the efficiency of both drivers and vehicle performance.

"We think that with this type of system implementation we will help to increase the safety of the fleets because it will provide the tools for a driver's feedback in an easy graphical format," says Gabriel Conde, Logistics and Network Design Manager for Coca Cola Mexico. "After the successful completion of Coca Cola FEMSA's pilot, we will consider this kind of system to be used in transport operations in order to improve the efficiency of the driver's performance as well as fleet effectiveness," adds Conde.

, manages a fleet of 1,400 trucks that deliver Coca Cola products to businesses throughout the city. The AP+ systems will enable Coca Cola FEMSA to streamline maintenance costs and ensure safe driving among its drivers.

Intelliservices is a subsidiary of Grupo Intelli, which also owns Intelligas and Dat@man. Grupo Intelli specializes in solutions for the modern administration of transportation through sophisticated systems. Through its divisions, Grupo Intelli offers administration and payment for fuel, vehicle control, tracking, and the ability to install and service. Intelliservices will service Coca Cola in Mexico for all APP products. Furthermore, in a letter received by APP from Rafael Gandare, director of marketing, they have targeted approximately 17 additional fleet companies with projected sales in 2001 of 1,500 units, and additional 5,000 in year 2002 and 10,000 units in 2003.
