Accesspoint Responds to Market Activity and Announces Increased Merchant Security Initiative.

Accesspoint began this year with approximately 4,000 service accounts and by the first week of September had already almost doubled that number, resulting in a nearly 100% increase in the first nine months of this year. By mid-September the company's processing numbers were ahead of the same periods for August and in the face of last week's terrible disasters, the company continues to add new merchants daily.

Last week's disaster illustrates the need for merchants to increase security. Accesspoint has implemented a new security initiative for the development of additional secure transaction identification services.
