Accesspoint Corp. and Internet Communications Announce Launch of Joint E-Commerce Marketing Campaign.


ANAHEIM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 1999--

Accesspoint Corp. (OTC BB:ASAP) (www.apc.net) and Internet Communications Inc. (Icom) (www.icom.com) Tuesday announced that Icom has launched a global marketing campaign featuring Accesspoint's Merchant Manager systems as the electronic commerce solution offered to their clients.

The alliance will immediately place Accesspoint in front of an additional 25,000 current customers, and Accesspoint will gain increased brand awareness as Icom continues its high visibility one billion (1,000,000,000) banner campaign.

Icom, one of the world's leading Web hosting providers, and one of Accesspoint's distribution channel partners, is providing both the Merchant Manger Enterprise and Merchant Manager e-commerce services to their new and existing clients. Icom's state-of-the-art multimedia marketing campaign will reach over 25,000 of their existing clients in the first phase. Integrating a cutting edge e-mail campaign into an aggressive banner ad campaign which targets new users, Icom has a signed committment to run one billion (1,000,000,000) banner ads over the next twelve months.

In a bold move, designed to further distance themselves from the competition, Icom will bundle these e-commerce accounts with merchant service accounts. These merchant service accounts provide credit card processing capabilities for the merchants' Web sites, enabling the merchant to capture the impulse buy.
