Accesspoint Corp. (OTCBB OTCBB

:ASAP (chat) asap - As soon as possible. ) announced today that the company is achieving marked success in its' drive toward anticipated profitability in 2001. The company has experienced a 47% increase in revenues between December 2000 and January 2001, and the first two months of 2001 have seen a 37% jump over the same period last year. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that the company continues to grow and exceed projections at a time when many of the company's competitors have been announcing lower than predicted revenues and closures.

This increase in revenues is attributable to both the development of a strong sales group and distribution channel as well as the introduction of revolutionary sales automation Sales Automation - Sales Force Automation , business management and delivery systems. Together these have produced internal efficiencies and the ability to begin capturing a more significant market share in a short period of time as the technological leader of the electronic payment industry.

"The company has been working hard to reduce overhead and increase revenues over the last six months and the success we are seeing today is due to the exceptional efforts by our teams in developing some of the transaction industry's best banking relationships, merchant processing programs and business management systems. For the first time, a company like Accesspoint is able to bring the efficiencies of the Internet and digital technologies to the processing industry," says Tom M. Djokovich, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. In January Accesspoint announced that it had reduced overall costs for service and operations by more than 40% since August 2000. The company has continued to develop new programs and services designed to increase efficiencies and better service the merchant processing industry.

"Accesspoint has created a sustainable competitive advantage in the fast growing market for better, faster and less expensive payment methods and we intend to work hard at capturing as much of the trillion dollar payment service industry as we can," added Djokovich.
