Accesspoint's Sales Channel Demonstrates Stellar Growth.

Business Editors and High-Tech Writers

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 9, 2001

Accesspoint Corp. (OTCBB:ASAP) today announced the continued strong growth in its resale channel.

Accesspoint started this year with more than 150 licensed re-sellers and has continued to successfully grow this sales channel by adding several key partners that provide the company with sales distribution access through more than 2000 additional offices.

Upon completion of the Accesspoint training program each office is prepared to provide a variety of Accesspoint solutions including transaction processing, check verification/fraud prevention, credit card merchant accounts through Accesspoint's wholly owned subsidiary Processing Source International (PSI), check processing and conversion, credit card terminals with leasing provided through PSI, and a full suite of e-commerce tools.

Accesspoint brings these business and transaction services together under one roof and provides a simple way for its sales channel to service the demand for these products and services in the marketplace. Accesspoint anticipates that as training continues, sales from its expanded sales base could rapidly grow the number of new merchant account applications it currently receives.

"I'm very proud of our accomplishments at Accesspoint and PSI," said PSI CEO Al Urcuyo, "and we have built one of the fastest growing sales infrastructures in the industry. A key competitive strength has been our ability to keep costs down without hampering growth and we look forward to expanding even further on the great strides we have made to date."

Accesspoint has been pursuing an aggressive sales training program for these sales offices, and continues to offer 24/7 support to its entire sales channel and client base. The company has also developed substantial documentation and customized training seminars for some of its larger re-sellers, and anticipates offering training seminars throughout its entire resale channel throughout the rest of the year.

This sales training continues to effectively prepare re-sellers in offering Accesspoint solutions in a consistent manner that clearly demonstrates Accesspoint's competitive advantage.
