Accessible Voting Equipment to be Unveiled Tonight; More Than 20% Of Nation's Polling Places Are Not Accessible To People with Disabilities.

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 13, 2001

It is paramount that states purchase equipment that is accessible to all Americans."

At the NAPAS annual conference tonight from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., which takes place at the Renassaince Hotel (999 9th St. NW), voter VOTER. One entitled to a vote; an elector.  accessibility will be discussed, as well as other disability issues that face the nation. Additionally, brand new voting equipment for people with disabilities will be demonstrated.
