Access360, a leading provider of Resource Provisioning Management (RPM) solutions, today announced that the company's "enRole" provisioning technology supports Oracle(R) Internet Directory (OID (1) (Object IDentifier) A permanent number assigned to an object for storage (persistence). It is typically a long integer, such as 128 bits, that can be computed using various methods to create a unique number. ), establishing a unified environment for managing user identity information and the control of access rights to multiple applications and platforms.

This development was made possible in conjunction with Access360's joining the Oracle Partner Program.

In supporting OID, Access360's LDAP-X provisioning agent will create and manage credentials stored within OID to define access privileges in emerging directory-enabled applications. Together, these technologies allow Oracle customers to centrally provision user access rights in environments with large numbers of users and for a variety of existing systems and emerging directory-enabled applications.
