Access all areas.MERSEYSIDE'S tourism and hospitality industry is being urged to open its doors to more disabled people. A special conference tomorrow will highlight the economic benefits of making facilities more accessible. The conference -entitled Why would I want disabled customers? Capturing the disabled pound -will also touch on new disabled law coming in this October October: see month. . It has been organised by Merseyside Merseyside, metropolitan county, NW England. Created in the 1974 local government reorganization, the county embraced the Greater Liverpool metropolitan area and comprised five metropolitan districts: Wirral, Sefton, Liverpool, Knowsley, and St. Helens.
