GIGAPAGE DASD's report viewing features include:

- Key Search-Accesses a report stored in DASD based on report name, report date and key value. (If a complete and valid key value is entered, the system will immediately display the exact page containing the requested data, or a "Requested Record Not In System" message will be displayed.)

- Partial Key Search-Displays the page at the next higher index value from the partial key.

- Scrolling-Allows scrolling forward or backward from the selected page, or right and left on a page that is wider than the display screen. Line highlighting is also available to aid in legibility for right and left scrolling.

- Extract and Transfer-Report sections may be directed to a sequential file for further processing or for retrieval by host-attached PC's either through file transfer via 3270 link or over LAN's. Data may be stored in sequential format on the PC for subsequent processing or extraction via third-party software packages for importing into spreadsheets, etc.

- Batch Environment-Batch options exist for print or inquiry. Batch requests are submitted through an administrative screen. Pages selected in batch mode may be directed to a system printer or they may be assembled in a sequential data set for further processing, such as export to a PC for spreadsheet analysis. Date range searches and printing may be performed on a batch basis.

- Find-Multiple searches and ad-hoc, or text content, searches are supported.

- Extended Indexing-Users may search multiple key values across multiple reports and across multiple dates. Search criteria spans relational (<,>,<=,>=,<>) and Boolean (AND, OR, NOT) operators.
