Access Power Appoints New President and CFO.

Access Power Inc., (OTCBB:ACCR), today announced the appointment of Bradley Benton as President and Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Benton was responsible for successfully developing 2 leading telecommunications businesses and has extensive experience managing and consulting in the industry as well as strong financial management credentials.

From 1986-1994, he developed and led an AT&T business unit responsible for the telecommunications-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and administration of Fortune 100 clients' financial programs. This AT&T unit worked with Coopers & Lybrand (C&L) to develop an acknowledged leader in the industry. C&L then hired Mr. Benton in 1994 to develop C&L's own outsourced CRM capability; this business similarly has grown to be a leader in the industry. In 1998, he joined C&L Consulting (now PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting) to help establish their emerging CRM strategic consulting capability, managing major engagements on a national basis. Mr. Benton also has extensive financial experience, including Controller and CFO responsibilities for AT&T's emerging cellular business.

Mr. Benton, who will also serve on the Board of Directors, holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Nebraska and has earned a Certified Management Accountant designation.

With this appointment, Access Power is transitioning from its interim consulting arrangement with Tatum CFO Services. Glenn Smith will remain CEO and Chairman and will heighten his focus on business strategy and planning as Mr. Benton leads the execution of the business.
