The 81-person agency, launched by Susan Butenhoff in October 1991, broke new ground leveraging consumer marketing principles for technology-oriented clients attempting to access emerging tech-savvy consumer markets. Access is now the eighth-largest firm among San Francisco agencies and boasts six distinct practice groups: technology products and services, ecommerce, enabling technologies, infrastructure, consumer marketplace, and entertainment.

Access has acquired accounts representing an additional $2 million in fees annually for the San Francisco and New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 offices. New clients include:
-- Limited Too (NYSE:TOO), (www.limitedtoo.com), is a rapidly growing specialty
retailer that designs and markets apparel, accessories and personal care
products for active, fashion-aware girls between ages 7 and 14 years.

-- Orbiscom (www.orbiscom.com), is a global provider of controlled, secure
online payment solutions that offers consumers a way to shop online without
revealing their credit card details. Utilizing Controlled Payment Number (CPN)
technology, the O-card product allows consumers to generate an alternate
16-digit card number, and select the limit, expiration date and specific
merchant site for use.

-- SwitcHouse (www.switchouse.com), the largest consumer-to-consumer online
swapping service focused on bringing together millions of people to help them
find new and better ways to get things they want, and tapping into the
estimated $180 billion marketplace for all secondhand goods.

-- AirSpeak (www.airspeak.com), a wireless products company that provides
mobile solutions and data access software for the corporate enterprise.
AirSpeak is leveraging the untapped near mobile marketplace, which constitutes
PC users who spend time away from their desks in meetings and cannot access
their information in real time. AirSpeak's first product, to be launched at N+I
in May, will provide users direct, instant access to their PC no matter where
they are in their workplace facilities.


Appointments

Access entered the new year adding two new members to its management team. Allyne Mills joins the agency as vice president bringing 15 years' experience in Internet-, entertainment- and consumer technology- related communications to her post in the New York office.
