Inspection System from one of the world's largest semiconductor manufacturers. Orion is a fully automated system which provides fast, accurate inspection of semiconductor reticles and photomasks. The ORION system's high throughput enables 100% inspection and qualification of reticles for step and repeat production tools. NexTech's technology encompassing the ORION system provides superior particle detection performance (defects sized at 2 micron and above) and is significantly faster approximately 35 seconds per semiconductor (reticle) than conventional metrology systems.

NexTech's CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , Mr. Tony Di Napoli, states, "Because macro inspection of reticles is a critical requirement during the semiconductor photolithography process, the potential for ORION system sales System sales is a business term used in the franchising industry. Franchisors provide supplies, marketing and administration services to franchisees in return for a part of the franchisees' revenues. Some franchisors also operate some outlets directly.  is significant. The worldwide semiconductor market continues to grow at a steady rate, thus the need for ORION systems in the manufacturing fabs throughout the worldwide semiconductor industry is substantial."

The machine has received a lot of positive feedback from the customer regarding its features and capabilities and is proving to be an ideal fit for this customer's application. The acceptance of this tool paves the way for orders of potentially up to 30 additional systems over the next two years.
