Accenture Supports Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian; Global Consulting Company Also Offers Scholarship Program for American Indians.

Approximately 7,000 objects from the museum's permanent collection will be on view when the museum opens to the public. Three major exhibitions will be complemented by a contemporary art exhibit and landmark works of art -- historic and contemporary -- placed throughout the building. NMAI projects the museum will have up to four million visitors annually.

In addition to Accenture's financial contribution and its role as a management consulting and information technology services advisor to the museum, the company is also offering a scholarship program for American Indian American Indian
 or Native American or Amerindian or indigenous American

Any member of the various aboriginal peoples of the Western Hemisphere, with the exception of the Eskimos (Inuit) and the Aleuts.
 students. The program is comprised of the following programs:

1. Accenture Scholars - three undergraduate scholarships of $20,000 each for students pursuing a four-year program

2. Accenture Fellows - three graduate scholarships of $10,000 each for students pursuing a two-year program with an emphasis on business or technical degrees

3. Finalist Scholarships - two undergraduate scholarships of $2,000 per year for four years and one graduate scholarship of $1,000 per year for two years
