Accenture Names Mary Tolan Corporate Development Officer and David Thomlinson Group Chief Executive, Resources.

) today announced that Mary Tolan, Group Chief Executive, Resources, has been named Corporate Development Officer and that David Thomlinson, head of the company's Resources operating group in Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Refers to that region of the world. Group Chief Executive, Resources

Mr. Thomlinson will lead the $2 billion Resources operating group, which comprises a global team of 11,000 professionals experienced in the energy, utilities, chemicals, forest products and metals and mining industries. As with other group chief executives, he will report to Accenture's Office of the CEO. Mr. Thomlinson will join Accenture's Management Committee and is expected to become an executive officer of Accenture upon approval by Accenture's board of directors in July. He will continue to be based in London.
