Accent Color Sciences' Truecolor System Highlighted at the On Demand Conference; Conference Session and Booth Display Showed Product's Capabilities.

Accent Color Sciences, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ACLR), a leading provider of high-speed highlight color printing systems, today announced that its Truecolor(TM) System was spotlighted in a conference session and at the IBM booth at the On Demand Digital Printing and Publishing Strategy Conference and Exposition this month in New York City.

A conference session entitled "Turning Transaction Documents into Marketing Documents" discussed the innovative ways that companies are creating marketing documents from transactional documents, and how digital service providers are using technology to expand their services or build entirely new ones. The session included an overview of the design and development process undertaken by Automatic Data Processing (ADP) Brokerage Services Group for their customer, Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. The collaboration of expertise among Bear Stearns, ADP, Group 1 Software, Information Design Associates, IBM Printing Systems and Accent Color Sciences delivered a world-class statement for clients of Bear Stearns. This statement, available since April 1999, is being printed by ADP's Brokerage Group using IBM Infoprint 4000 duplex, high speed, continuous forms printers and IBM Infoprint Hi-Lite Color post processors based on the Accent Color Truecolor(TM) System technology. The statements are distributed worldwide to clients of Bear Stearns.

IBM markets ACS' Truecolor(TM) System technology as the IBM Infoprint Hi-Lite Color and displayed it with the IBM high-speed duplex continuous forms Infoprint 4000 printer. This is the fourth consecutive year that IBM has exhibited the technology at the On Demand Exposition.

Throughout the show, the display, which included the high speed duplex Infoprint 4000, and pre- and post-processing equipment by Hunkeler, printed application samples demonstrating the versatility and performance of the IBM solution for the securities, utility, mutual fund, finance, and insurance industries, and others. Applications included monthly statements, remittance notices and booklets with colorized bleed-edge tabs. The Truecolor(TM) System's highlight color draws attention to important information on the statement such as cross-selling opportunities, account performance, remittance information, and corporate identity. The Truecolor System technology adds variable data information in color for less than $0.01 per page, making it capable of "touching" a client with personalized information for less than traditional advertising rates of $0.01-0.04 per contact.
