Accellion Managed File Transfer Solutions Provide Government Agencies with a Secure, Compliant Means for Sharing Digital Information

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Unsecure P2P file sharing and thumb drive usage is on the rise, increasing the risk of data breaches associated with their use. In response to the growing need to safeguard digital data, Accellion, Inc., a leading provider of secure file transfer solutions for enterprises, today unveiled an aggressive expansion into the public sector. To help government agencies prevent data leakage at the file transfer source Accellion is announcing a new reseller partner, General Services Administration (GSA) pricing and pending FIPS 140-2 federal certification.

Accellion is partnering with Reston, Virginia-based reseller Vinitech, Inc., a technology reselling and consulting company catering to public sector clients and specializing in security and network architecture solutions. The Vinitech partnership will expand Accellion's public sector sales channel following the upcoming addition of Accellion's highly recognized Managed File Transfer solutions to the GSA schedule.

Accellion's Managed File Transfer solutions have recently satisfied Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) pre-validation requirements.
