PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Managed file transfer vendor Accellion, Inc. announced today that Gary Rogers has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Mr. Rogers will lead Accellion's worldwide enterprise sales efforts to meet the increasing demand for managed file transfer solutions that secure the transfer of intellectual property and confidential information subject to compliance regulations.

Previously Mr. Rogers was President of Bridge Performance Solutions where he established and built channels and plans in the US and Europe in conjunction with Microsoft and other global IT solution providers. He served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing at USi where he was instrumental in establishing the company as the leading ASP. He also served as Vice President of Sales for Clarus Corp. and led the early growth of this firm.

Gary received a BA and completed graduate work at the State University of New York.
