Accellion, Inc., an Intelligent Edge Storage services provider, announced today the company has signed mobileID, the emerging leader of wireless application development and deployment software for Java developers, as a customer of its Global Storage Express service. mobileID will use Accellion's services to manage and distribute their developer toolkit to their worldwide customer base of wireless application developers. They will also include an Accellion driver in the mobileID developer toolkit, which allows developers to tie directly into Accellion's global distributed storage network. Accellion's global services will allow mobileID and their end-users to quickly and securely access, download and upload large files from anywhere, while managing file replication for maintaining version control for accurate distribution. This solution allows mobileID to focus on delivering their software solutions, and not on deploying and managing a global distribution network.
