Accellion, Inc., an Intelligent Edge Storage services provider, announced today the appointment of Karin Walker as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and the addition of Thomas Roskowick, Vice President and General Manager of East Coast Operations, and Scott Zarriello, Regional Vice President Sales, Eastern Region. These additions to the Company's management team bring years of valuable experience and will provide further momentum as Accellion strengthens its position in the market.

Walker brings over 12 years of sound financial expertise and a proven track record for developing strategic business processes. She will be responsible for the financial guidance and processes necessary to build a strong, growing market-leading business. Walker was most recently Vice President of Finance at NIKU Corp. (Nasdaq:NIKU), where she was responsible for all corporate accounting activities and investor relations. She has consistently developed and maintained sound fiscal processes and works closely with senior management to execute on business strategies.

As Vice President and General Manager, East Coast Operations, Roskowick brings over 20 years of management experience to Accellion and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the East Coast operations, including global network operations and customer support. Roskowick's years of experience designing, implementing and managing network operations centers (NOCs) and customer support services will help build a strong customer support infrastructure for Accellion as it continues to grow. Most recently, he was Vice President of Network Operations at Vectant, Inc. where he was responsible for building an operations team in the United States and Japan as well as various aspects of network design and management. Previously, Roskowick was Director of East Coast Operations for AboveNet Communications, Inc., which was acquired by Metromedia Fiber Network (Nasdaq:MFNX) in September 1999.

Zarriello joins Accellion as Regional Vice President Sales, Eastern Region and will be responsible for the direction and growth of the Company's sales in that region. He brings over 12 years of direct sales experience, most recently as General Manager and Vice President for Madge.web. Zarriello has extensive experience building sales force and sales support organizations and developing strategic reseller programs.
