Accela Communications Releases AccelaCast v3.1; Release Corresponds With Launch of New Accela Communications Website.

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. -- Accela Communications unveiled the release of AccelaCast v3.1, the market-leading platform for the distribution of webcasts and on-demand rich media programs. The latest release illustrates Accela Communication's forward thinking mission to continually advance its platform technology, both functionally and graphically. The design of the player interface has been revamped and streamlined to allow customers to integrate the player directly into any Web page environment. Embedding of on-demand rich media programs into one or multiple web pages provides tremendous value to companies as it allows for greater control over the presentation of the program, and negates any concern over pop-up blockers.

The most significant of which is the ability to dynamically specify the desired height and width of the player interface and have the system immediately re-scale accordingly.
