Performance

The AccelSTAR II's custom drivers allow for optimized acceleration when using applications based on the OpenGL(R), Direct3D and Autodesk HEIDI APIs. In recent in-house benchmark tests(a) the AGP-based AccelSTAR II scored over 136 million Winmarks in the Winbench 97 test and 186 million Winmarks in the 3D Winbench test under Windows 95. When tested for 3D OpenGL performance, the AGP-based AccelSTAR II achieved a Viewperf CDRS-03 score in the mid 20s. All results were run on a 266Mhz Intel Pentium II system.
