SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 1997--AccelGraphics, Inc. (NASDAQ:ACCL), a leading supplier of high-performance 3-D graphics subsystems and software for Windows(R), and Digital Equipment Corp. today announced that the new AccelECLIPSE(TM) 3-D graphics subsystem will now be available worldwide through Digital's network of distribution partners. Digital's distributor and VAR channel will now offer the Digital Personal Workstation i-Series line with custom configurations incorporating the AccelECLIPSE 3-D graphics subsystem. This complements the current line of AccelGraphics products, the AccelPRO(TM) and AccelPRO(TM) TX, already shipping directly from Digital as part of its graphics workstation offerings.

The AccelECLIPSE offers a high-end solution for users looking for higher performance and sophisticated technology in markets such as mechanical design, animation and scientific visualization.
