SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 1, 1995--AccelGraphics Inc., the leading supplier of PCI-based 3D graphics accelerators, today announced support for Advanced Visual Systems' visual programming environment, AVS/Express(TM).

The AccelGraphics AG300 graphics accelerator board will provide workstation-class, 3D graphics and imaging performance for this environment, allowing users to experience the power of a high-end graphics workstation on a WindowsNT-based PC.

AVS/Express is a multi-platform application development environment that uses object-oriented visual programming enabling developers to rapidly prototype and construct technical and commercial visual applications. It allows engineers, scientists and business analysts to analyze, manipulate and display large volumes of complex data. AVS/Express combines into one environment all the key components required to construct data-intensive, interactive 3D graphics applications on a wide range of platforms.
